Do you have a minimum per order?

We charge a minimum of $65 per bag (up to 25 lbs) plus a delivery fee of $9.95. Laundry exceeding 25 lbs per bag is charged $3/lb.As a reference, each bag fits about: 25 lbs of residential laundry, or 3 standard pillows, or 3 standard blankets, or 2 standard duvets.

Do I have to be home, or meet your driver, for pickup or delivery?

No, you don't have to be home. Feel free to leave your bag(s) out for us on your doorstep or porch. Let us know when you sign up if you’d prefer your clean laundry left on your doorstep.

Please note we charge a $15 missed pickup/delivery fee.

Will you provide me with a laundry bag before my first pickup?

No. On your first pickup,  please place your laundry in sealed trash bags. We’ll return your clean laundry in your very own Family Laundry bags, (yours to keep for your next order). As a reference, our bags fit the contents of about 2 tall kitchen bags (or one large black trash bag).

How do I schedule a laundry pickup?

The easiest way to schedule a pickup is via the Family Laundry web app. If you’d rather deal with a human, we’ll be delighted to take your call or text at (510) 588 4102. Leave a message or text us and a human being will get back to you the same day.

Can I bring my laundry to you?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You can drop off your laundry at 2609 Foothill Boulevard in Oakland.Drop it off before 10:00 am for same-day service, or after 10:00 am for next-day service. We’re open 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.Our retail Wash & Fold service is $2.00 per pound.A note for customers with fragrance or detergent sensitivities: Laundry dropped off at our retail location is processed in a facility that is open to the public. While we use Free & Clear detergent for our Wash & Fold service, the machines may occasionally contain trace residue from scented detergents or other laundry products used by other customers.If you are highly sensitive to fragrances, dyes, or laundry chemicals, we recommend using our Pickup & Delivery Wash & Fold service, which is processed separately in our dedicated facility.

What is the turnaround time?

Our standard turnaround is 24 hours. You can schedule a pickup for a time that works for you, and we'll have your fresh, clean laundry back on your doorstep by the next business day.Same-day service is available in select locations for an additional $14.95 fee.
