Do you have a minimum per order?
May I request cleaning preferences?
Yes! You can choose your preferred temperature for washing and drying when you place your order. If you're looking to add something special, this is what we offer:

Please don't. Our drivers are compensated fairly for their professional work.
What cleaning products do you use?
Who takes care of my laundry?
We do, at every step. Family Laundry drivers pick up and return your clothes. Our full-time launderers expertly clean & neatly fold your items in our 100% owned and operated facilities.
Is same-day service really Free and Standard?
Yes. Any orders picked up before 9 am will be returned to you by 9 pm the same day. For free.
Can I drop off my laundry?
Yes. We now accept dropoffs at 2609 Foothill Boulevard in Oakland. 7 am to 8 pm, seven days a week. Price: $1.50/lb for wash + fold | $0.75 for wash + dry only.
Oops I missed your driver (sorry). Can I reschedule?
Forgot we were coming today? No sweat, reschedule via the app.
Do you provide group service to multi-unit apartment buildings?
Yes, we do! Coordinate/consolidate pickup days with your neighbors for a group discount. Requests for multi unit pricing and coordination should be sent to info@familylaundry.com.
Do you offer hang dry?
No. Please send us laundry that can be machine washed and dried. They will come back sorted and neatly folded in beautiful bundles like the ones you see below. If you want us to send back your lingerie bag with delicate items wet so you can hang at home, we can do that! Just let us know when you place your order.
What cities do you serve?

It's my first order and I have no bag? What do I do?
Leave us your clothes in plastic trash bags. We'll take care of it. Make sure to take off pins from blouses and anything valuable from pockets such as credit cards or jewelry.
Do I have to meet the driver in person?
No. Just leave your bag(s) in front of your door and we'll take care of it. Please indicate whether you'd like us to pickup and deliver your laundry by your door when you register
Can you clean dog bedding, large comforters and sleeping bags?
Yes we can! We have big machines to launder your large items. Our Dexter brand machines are the best in the business!

I'm a former Launderbot client, how do I sign up with you?
LaunderBot was acquired by Family Laundry in December 2019. If you're a former LaunderBot client, download the Family Laundry app on your iPhone or Android device and use the same LaunderBot username and password. You'll have to re-enter your payment information.

Yes. Family Laundry is considered an essential business (along with grocery stores and pharmacies) and will therefore continue to operate. We do your laundry, we operate our own facilities. Everyone on our team is a W-2 employee. Know the following:
