The minimum is one bag at $65 (up to 25 lbs) plus a $9.95 delivery fee.

Each bag fits about 25 lbs of laundry, 3 standard pillows, 3 standard blankets, or 2 standard duvets.

One bag covers up to 25 lbs. Anything over that is an extra $3 per lb. If you have more than a bag's worth, just add another bag when you book.

No. Leave your bag(s) on your doorstep or porch, and tell us where in your delivery instructions.

Please note there is a $15 missed pickup/delivery fee.

No. For your first pickup, please put your laundry in sealed trash bags. We return your clean laundry in Family Laundry bags that are yours to keep for your next order.

Our bags hold about 2 tall kitchen bags (or one large black trash bag).

We pick up and deliver Monday to Saturday. Morning, midday and evening windows are available depending on your area, and you can book a window up to 60 minutes before it ends.

Most orders come back the next service day. Same-day delivery is available in most areas for an extra $14.95. We run Monday to Saturday, so a Saturday pickup comes back Monday.

$9.95 per order. Delivery is free for subscribers.

Free & Clear hypoallergenic detergents, white vinegar and Oxi. We never use bleach, fragrances or softeners.

We do, every step of the way. Everyone who touches your laundry is a Family Laundry employee. Our trained launderers work in our own facilities, and our drivers use our own delivery vehicles. We never outsource.

Yes, Air Dry is $15 per delicates bag. Choose Air Dry when you book, and put your delicates in a separate bag. We'll give you a reusable 15"×19" delicates bag at no extra cost.

Yes. We have big machines for larger items. If it fits in a Family Laundry bag, we'll wash it.

No. Our specialty is wash & fold. We use only water and hypoallergenic detergents.

No, we never use chlorine bleach. We offer bleach alternatives instead: Vinegar ($3 per bag) and Oxi ($3 per bag).

A lot of people are sensitive to fragrances and the additives in conventional detergents, and plenty of households simply prefer to avoid them. Free & Clear is the choice that works for everyone, so we make it our standard.

It also means your laundry comes back smelling like nothing at all: clean, not perfumed. If you'd like a boost, we offer vinegar and Oxi as add-ons.

Our standard process is warm water and a medium tumble dry. Please send only machine-washable items, and set aside anything labeled dry clean only or hand wash only.

Dry-clean-only and hand-wash-only items, shoes and sneakers, and anything that doesn't fit in a Family Laundry bag.

Yes. For $275/month you get 100 lbs of wash & fold (about 4 bags), unlimited pickups and free next-day delivery.

Usage above 100 lbs is $2.75/lb. Same-day delivery is $14.95, and add-ons are charged separately. Stop anytime. Subscribe in the app or email info@familylaundry.com.

Yes. Share your code from Rewards in the app. Your friend gets $20 off their first order, and you get $20 once it's paid.

Absolutely! Bring it to Sudzee Wash & Fold (our laundromat), 2609 Foothill Blvd, Oakland, open 7 am – 8 pm, 7 days a week — our drop-off counter is open every day, even though pickup and delivery runs Monday to Saturday. Drop off before 10 am for same-day service, after 10 am for next-day. Drop-off wash & fold is $2/lb.

A note for customers with fragrance or detergent sensitivities: laundry dropped off at our retail location is processed in a facility that is open to the public, so the machines may hold trace residue from other customers' products. If you are highly sensitive, use our pickup & delivery service, which is processed separately in our dedicated facility.

We take great care with every item. In the rare event something is lost or damaged, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.

Yes. Set a default tip in the app under Preferences, or change it on any order.

Yes! Buy an e-gift card here. The recipient just creates a Family Laundry account and the gift card applies to their order.

Absolutely! We serve Airbnb hosts, hotels, salons, childcare centers, massage and chiropractic practices, gyms, grocery stores and other local businesses. Get a quote.

Yes, we offer discounts for coordinated pickups in multi-unit buildings. Email info@familylaundry.com to set it up with your neighbors.
